Jack Layton was the best Canadian politician of a generation, and one of my personal favourites. 112 days after his greatest victory, he died of cancer. Canada and I will miss him tremendously.

All of this posts are worth a reblog, but I feel tremendously sad every time I do

 Although his political ideologies are not my own, I had a lot of respect for Jack Layton and Canada will be a very different place without him. He changed this country for the better. It will be a very long time before we see another politician with his drive, passion, hope and charisma again.
